Overview

In Riverside, we designed a Japanese-inspired garden focused on proportion, sightlines, and long-term plant health. Stone, gravel, water, and evergreen structure work together so the space feels calm and performs through every season.

Before

Before: Uneven and undefined

The yard was uneven and unstructured, with drainage and circulation issues. The goal was to create distinct zones for movement and pause without cluttering the space.

After

After: Stone, water, and quiet structure

We regraded for drainage, built a gravel base for raking, placed stepping stones, and curated bonsai and bamboo planting. Subtle lighting extends the garden into the evening without glare.
